Every day, Philadelphia residents, older adults, small business owners, nonprofits and community organizations are being targeted by increasingly sophisticated scams, fraud schemes and cyber threats. From phishing emails and fake text messages to identity theft, social media scams and financial fraud, cybercriminals are exploiting technology to target people of all ages and backgrounds. Unfortunately, many individuals and organizations do not have access to practical, easy-to-understand cybersecurity education that helps them recognize warning signs before becoming victims. As these threats continue to grow, there is a critical need for trusted, community-based education that empowers people with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves, their families and their organizations online.

Cyber Smart Philly was created to help meet this need by providing accessible, engaging, and practical cyber awareness education tailored to the communities we serve. Through presentations, workshops, resources, and community partnerships, Cyber Smart Philly equips residents, businesses, and nonprofit leaders with real-world strategies to recognize scams, prevent fraud, and stay safe online.
